Some of you may know that we have recently become art of the YouTube family. Â Check out our first video here as the Family!
Need a special piece, but you can’t find just the right piece. Â Right size but wrong color… Â Its a problem, especially when you shop at thrift stores like I do. Â How do you fix this problem? Â I’m glad you asked…
Check out this little diamond in the rough. Â With a couple of colors of paint and wax, this table went from farmhouse to fantastic!!
These pieces may look familiar from the “Before” pictures of our Fairy Garden Glam room that I did for my friend, Melissa. Â She wanted her daughter to have the old furniture, but I repainted it first so that it would be cool like Mady. Â Here are the before and after’s.
Rachael’s table was such a fun project!! Â She has an old family table that she just can’t part with so we made it new!! Â Instead of worrying about the bumps and scrapes on it, we celebrated them by painting the table with two different colors and sanding it down!

I had so much fun redecorating this bedroom. Â My sweet friend gave me very little direction on what she wanted, which can be good and bad. Â I had all the freedom I wanted, but at the same time, she could walk in and hate it. Â But the happy tears in her eyes when she walked in was all I needed to know that she was in love!!
Most of the pieces that I found for this room were repurposed, from basements, estate sales and thrift stores. Â However, I didn’t scrimp on the fabrics and textiles, they are all brand new and fabulous. Â All of the furniture was painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
This is the condo that I helped decorate.  This was a tad different because I had never been there.  I worked together with the owner who did all of the manual labor.  We make a pretty great team.
This is first pic is the after, Â but take a look at those before pics too. Â If you click on the after pic, it will open the link to airbnb.com and you check the whole place out!! This place looks AMAZING!!
I love walking out of a thrift store with a brand new project! I friend needed some end tables and I knew I had hit the jack pot with these beauties! Check out this transformation!
My friend Tara was thinking about adding some mercury glass to a guest room. Â She had seen some on the show Fixer Upper (who didn’t) and loved the look. Â So before we took on the big project, Lily and I decide to tackle a small vase to see how to make mercury glass. Â It was super simple as long as you have the right products. Â The instructions said to get Krylon’s Looking Glass Paint and White Distilled Vinegar. Â I could only find the Looking Glass Paint at the craft store. Basically, you:
- Put the vinegar in a spray bottle
- Spray the glass with vinegar lightly
- Spray with the Krylon
- Dab with a cloth
- Wait about 30 seconds…and repeat about 5 times.
We had a blast making the vase look old!!
